Diana Marie Hilburn Gordon, 61, of Moon Township, PA. passed away Saturday, Sept. 4, 2010, of complications from cancer. Huntsman Funeral Home of Moon Township. PA. is handling cremation arrangements. She was born in Cassville on March 30, 1949 to Herman and Mabel Hilburn. She attended elementary schools in Oklahoma. She graduated from Cassville, Missouri High School in 1967, then attended The School, College of the Ozarks in Hollister, MO. From there she went onto Sorbonne University in Paris. She then received her certificate to teach foreign language from University of Missouri in Kansas City. She was married for a period to Walter Gordon, of Kansas City. She lived and worked in Europe for a short time and lived and worked, primarily, in Kansas City, Missouri, Miami, Florida, and lastly in Pittsburgh, PA. with life partner Paul Schultz. Survivors Include: Her Mother Mabel(Taylor) Hilburn, of Exeter; Her three Brothers, Larry Hilburn, of Exeter MO. Lynn Hilburn, of Arlington, Texas, and Roger Hilburn, of Branson, MO. and Her Sister, Lana Turner, of Cassville, MO. There will be a Memorial Service held in Cassville at Blessing Heights Worship Center at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 11, 2010. All friends and relatives are invited to attend.
